Rock City Game Land sign

This is an old neon sign with the tubes removed and almost certainly repainted for a new business. This time, Rock City has nothing to do with the tourist attraction atop Lookout Mountain. In this case, Rock City is a small community along US70N in western Smith County, TN.

Putnam Drive-In Theater (Now Gone)

Located along Nashville Rd. (U.S. 70N) on the west side of Cookeville, TN in Putnam County. It has been closed for a few years and this concession stand was removed about 8 or 9 years ago.

Benton McMillan Bridge

U.S. 70N over the Caney Fork River in Smith County east of Carthage. It's a thin bridge, which means it's probably really old. (Specifically 1932) Benton McMillan was a governor of Tennessee. This bridge is scheduled for replacement and demolition by TDOT as is is functionally obsolete.

Hickory Hill Motel & Cafe Neon Sign

It looks like this place last had a paying customer about the time it was relevant for Motels to mention they had air conditioning. This is on the eastern side of Wilson County, east of Lebanon, TN along the Carthage Highway (U.S. 70N) which has long since been unused by most tourists as it parallels I-40.

Spring St. Super Market neon sign - Cookeville, TN

A neat neon sign on US70N in Cookeville, TN. The Reddish lights progress in order, starting at the top left, then the horizontal lines from the top to the bottom, and finally the big arrow at the bottom right.
