AT&T Building at Dusk
As of the beginning of 2008, Nashville's most prominent skyscraper, the BellSouth Building was renamed and re-logoed the AT&T building. With the two spires at top, it has been locally dubbed as the Batbuilding. Maybe I'll call it the Bat&tbuilding.
Until the Signature Tower gets built (which may never happen), this is Nashville's tallest skyscraper at 617 ft and 33 floors. It was built in 1994, very briefly using a South Central Bell logo. Another logo in this view has changed. The Red CVS Caremark was just a white Caremark, and that change was made in 2007.

Beautiful. It'll always be the "bat building" to me, I moved here in 1996. Not many cities have such a recognizable building as this one.
ReplyDeleteDo you use a tripod for all of your photos? I wish mine came out a tenth as good as yours! Keep up the good work! I look forward to this page each morning now.
I used to think the bat building was unique, but there's a building in Melbourne, Australia similar to this one. At least the two spire design is unique in America!
ReplyDeleteUnless I'm using a flash, I have found that a tripod is a must for any night or dusk photos. I found a tripod on Amazon a couple of years ago for about $30 that I really like. Before I had that, I'd sometimes just lay the camera on the ground or my wallet for a photo like this. :)
